Ilıca is a neighborhood in Çeşme district of İzmir province. It is an advanced thermal centre.[1] In Ilıca, where fine sandy beaches lie, there are thermal springs in the sea that are not seen anywhere else in the world. More than 250 hot water springs have been identified in Ilıca Bay alone. At the same time, it is one of the few districts of Turkey in terms of mastic gum and olive trees, which are common in the Çeşme region.
